Today the family of LCpl Christopher "Blake" Rodgers will be at Dover Air force Base to welcome their son back to US soil!!! I still just can't imagine how they are handling this!! I was just a face book buddy and I am a basket case!! Please Keep this family in your prayers as they travel back to Griffin Georgia with their precious son!!! May God give them strength that they need to with stand what lies ahead of them!!!
My son will arrive home today as well for his labor day 96! As he is due to be home for a few days I sit and think about that this could have very easily been my son!! I know that when I get my hands on him once again I will squeeze him and love him and let him know that he is my whole world and that I love him so much!! I am so thankful for him and that God allowed me to keep my son!!!
After all of this, I am even more thankful for family and that everyone is happy and healthy!! I continue to pray for Julie as her son Justin is still over in that big sandbox! Please God, just keep him safe and bring him home to his family!! PLEASE!!!
And as my dear friend Lynda will prepare for her son Billy to go over in the near future I will once again be begging God to watch over him and bring him home as well!!
I have a lot to be Thankful for and loosing Blake has made it even more real!
Hold your family and friends close...tell them that you love them!!!
You just never know what is going to happen!!!
As Always....
Keep Praying...IT WORKS!!!
