Christmas Pictures!

Well not alot going on here! I did think about doing Christmas pictures of my children since Justin was home and I am gonna show you a few but not the one I picked because I hope that I get to mail out you all a card!! Even though my children are 20 and 16 I still have a hard time getting them to co-operate with me and the camera!! They want to make goofy faces and not all smile at the same time or just make some crazy fake smile!!! I love them even though they all give me just the hardest time!!!

So that was about it for my day!!! We did go and see the Family of Ms. Louise and they are all so broken hearted!! I know exactly how they feel!!!

Dinner and Dawgs!!!!

My dinner last night was great!! I enjoyed the wonderful company of the Bouchards! We talked about the good times we have had and talked about the times that we have to come!!! Not really knowing what is really going to happen and that we may be spending Christmas together at Camp Lejeune and we will be just fine with that if that is what we have to do!! We just know that we WILL be listening to the President on Tuesday night!!!! This is a picture of us at the School of Infantry (SOI) Graduation!!! Even Wally is watching those Dawgs!!! I think he is wishing he was a Bulldog so that he could be UGA VIII!!!! HA!!! Wally has not been feeling so good...not sure if he is getting old or if something is actually wrong!
I think that he will be making a trip to see the Doctor this week!!! :(

Well I am so very sad....Ms. Louise has passed away!!! She was a very special lady to me and my church!! She WILL be missed!!!

Shop til I dropped and gifts in the mail!!

Well I started the day off with getting up at 2 am and arriving at the Walmart at 2:45 and got in the lines for the special items that we were wanting!! We being...Brenda, Britani and Myself!! And we had a blast!!!! I love the whole shopping thing on Black Friday and I know that it is not something that everyone gets into but I do!! I am just about finished and so glad!!! Then when I finally got home I did rest for a bit then we decided to go to a football game!! Our team that we went to see play, well they lost!!!! Once we got home I remembered that we had not gotten the mail for the day and well needless to say I had a package!

And why you may ask that I got a package...Well I joined in on an ornament swap and that is what was in the box!!

Turkey Gone...and so am I!!!

Oh one of my favorite days of the year!!! I love my sleep but I love to get up and go and get in line to shop!! Not everyone is into doing this but I have been doing it since forever!!! I go to every store that I think I might can see some action or find a good deal!! It was really more fun when my children were little but I still love it!!!

Thanksgiving was great!!! I enjoyed everyone and every bit of the food!!! I love the holidays!!! I hope that you all had a Thanksgiving and enjoy your BLACK FRIDAY!!

Well this year we get to be home for Thanksgiving and I am so glad!!!

We enjoy every part of the holidays and at Thanksgiving we enjoy all the food and I cooked all day yesterday!!

Well Britani got to see her friend when we met and get Justin! His name is Nick. Justin rode home with him to so to help with the driving!! Justin and Nick have been in the same company since Parris Island and we all have become really good friends!! We will be having Thanksgiving with him and his family at my house on Saturday!!

The day before...

Here we are the day before the big T day...Thanksgiving!! This week I have been sharing with you people that are in my life that I am so very Thankful to have!! I have shared with you my husband and children and then all my brothers and sister and so today....This person is so special to me!! We have been together since I was about 4 years old!! My Mama kept her while her mama worked, her mama is my sister....anybody know who I am talking about...

I never want to imagine my life with out her in it!! She shares her family with me and I love them all so much!!!! She was my friend/niece as a child and still today she is my friend/niece and I love her dearly!!!

Day one of my week of being Thankful!!

Day 1 of my week of being Thankful!!!

I want this week to focus on being Thankful!

So I will start my week off by saying that I am so Thankful for my Family!!! They are so special to me!! Not gonna make it all sappy and teary!!

Here we are all together! It doesn't happen much everyone is so busy!! But this was taken last year on our Thanksgiving trip to Camp Lejeue. Justin was just finishing up with his school of infantry and could not leave not we packed up and went to be with him!! It was alot o fun but this year he gets to come home!!

Let's all take just one moment today and focus on what we are Thankful for!!

It is truly a time to be thankful for what we have, and I hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity to spend quality time together with your Marine or sailor. An update on current events: Though no deployment has been approved for the battalion, we have been tasked with sending equipment to Afghanistan. There has been no approval to increase troop strengths in Afghanistan and this battalion has not received a deployment order. However, as I have previously stated, we must remain prepared to deploy within 30 days. Your Marines and sailors are mentally, physically and spiritually prepared for any mission that we may be asked to undertake on behalf of the country,and we know that your support is a critical ingredient to any success the battalion has enjoyed and will enjoy in the future. I encourage you to enjoy every moment you have together, and I thank you for your flexibility and support during this period of uncertainty.

It is not definite that he will be going but NEVER have we got anything like this!! So as easy it is for people to say that I just have to wait and see,and that maybe he won't go or whatever other excuse someone may say trying to make me feel better, my heart hurts and is so heavy with just all of the possibility of it happening and that it is not looking like he will be home for Christmas even if he is not deployed! They will keep them on base from what I am undersanding!!! But he will be home Wednesday and I will spend every second I can with him!!! So please be patient with all my tears during this Thanksgiving week!! My heart just hurts!!!

Also...please pray for my friend and many of yours friend...Ms. Janice and Alexis! They are in Kentucky and were at Walmart and hit a pot hole with the buggy and it flipped and Ms. Janice fell as well as Alexis fell out of the buggy and broke the main bone in her leg!! She is in the hospital in Kentucky and may have to have surgery!!! Please Please Please Pray for her! She is only 4 years old and has never been sick must less in the hospital!!

New Moon

This sweet daughter of mine, that really never ask for a whole lot had a very special request today!! She asked me to go and get her and one of her friends from school New Moon tickets!! I thought well that is a waste of time be cause they are gonna be sold out!! But off I went just as soon as I dropped the kids off to Ganky!!

Well after standing in a long line...I got tickets!!! She was so excited!!! They went and enjoyed the movie and now can't wait on the next one to come out!! I have not got into these Twilight series but she did and I am glad that she got to do something that she really wanted to do!!

So now it's the weekend and not alot going on! We have a birthday party this afternoon and I have to cook a cookie cake for it but that is no big deal at all!! You all have a great day!!

3 years gone by and Girls Thanksgiving program!!

Well 3 years ago today my Daddy made that journey that we all must make...I miss him so bad and would love to be able to sit down and have a talk with him! He was so very dear to me!! He loved his family so much and we all loved him too!! And still to this day Pop...

"You are my whole world and I love you very much!!"

Now I will move on to a happier part of my blog!! Just look at Avery...She was an Indian in the Thanksgiving program and she was just precious! She sang her little heart out and did all of the hand motions!! It was such a precious program!!

So now we have a Pilgrim in the program too!! Alex was tooo darn cute in her outfit!!! She also sang so good but was not really into the hand motions too much, but she did a wonderful job!!

Well Thank God It Is Friday and I don't have alot planned for this weekend!! I am looking forward to a relaxing one!! I will be going buy my Turkey for Thanksgiving!! Jeff fries one every year for our family gathering and we love it!!! Maybe work on some outdoor decorations and wrap up some gifts!! You all have a great day!!

I am 40!!!!

Yes that is right!!!! I am 40!! I turned 40 yesterday and it was a wonderful Birthday!! I got gifts and hugs and lots of songs and my friend Lynda , one of our blog friends that we have never met but love her to death (Joyce), my sister Theresa and My niece Tracy all did their blogs about me!!

A Day with 3 Simmons Children

OH what a day!!! All 3 of The Simmons Children are home and I am one happy MAMA!!!

Poor Bradley...He has puffy cheeks and but is doing really well! He has kept his ice pack on his face and ate all soft foods! I seem to think that he just is not happy staying in the house!!

I AM ALMOST 40!!!

Monday I will be!!

My family and some of my dearest friends got together and put together a surprise party for me!! It was soooo nice!!!!

I got lots of special gifts!! And Lynda I got me a Georgia Snuggie!!! I love it! I got a Christmas tree ornament for my new tree I am gonna go get today! And about 65.00 in gift cards!! I also got a new dress for church!! Then a really neat gift was a glass cube that had a picture of Justin in it!!! Oh and I also got this really cute purse...can you tell I just love everything that I got!! It was a really good time for me and everyone else too!! I will never be able to thank everyone enough!! It was just great!!!

They Gotta Go!!!

Oh look at that handsome face!!! He is so sweet and such a comedian to have around!! He has been suffering with headaches and after reading

http://agirlnamedkellykelly.blogspot.com/ I was not really sure what it was! I had been told several times that his wisdom teeth need to come out or it was gonna mess up the ortho work! So off to the Oral Surgeon we went!! And yes that right...They gotta go!!!!

They are teeth that are no good what so ever and just really do nothing but cause pain and mess up all your other teeth!!!

So we will be at the Oral Surgeon at 6:45 this morning and they will start surgery at 7:00! Not sure how he is gonna do but he is tough and I think that he will be fine! Just gonna keep him home and in his bed!! Make sure he gets plenty of fluids and takes his medication like he needs to! He is a tough guy!!!

My Birthday is Monday and Tracy is doing dinner at her house tonight! Hopefully Bradley will feel like going!! I bought him lots of soft foods!! Jeff has offered to stay home with him if he doesn't feel like going and Justin will be coming home this weekend!! Did anyone really think that he wouldn't come home with it being his mama's birthday!!!
