Life is like a box of chocolate...

He made it back to Camp Lejeune!!! Yayyy!! I am so happy he is back in contact with me on a constant basis!!!! I love seeing his name pop up on my phone...hearing his voice and listening to the excitement that he has for life!! Can you tell that I love him?But I am not the only one! Many more people love him too! Here is Ganky getting her some hug time on Mother's Day! But as everyone knows Ganky has gone to Myrtle Beach and well that is only 2 hours from Justin! Anyone know where I am going with this? Yes...He went to surprise her on the beach!!! She loves him so much and picked to go to Myrtle Beach for vacation this year because it would be close to Justin! Little did she know that he would join her for the day!!! I wish I could have been there to see her face!! I think that he lives to surprise her!! And it was a surprise and I sure hope that she enjoyed seeing my Marine before me!! Only Ganky would I allow to do that!!! Still jealous!!!

I am having a what?

Another Great Niece!!!! This is Jessica she is my oldest sisters grand-daughter!! Isn't she cute! She is having a baby...a little girl and her name is gonna be Kendall Elaine!! I love babies!!! I can remember the day Jessica was born and how excited me and my mama was! We would buy her the most lacy dresses ever and I can't believe that she is letting me buy this baby one!! Here is Jessica and her Baby sister Kristen! I have such memories of these two! They will always hold a special spot in my heart!
Jessica had a really great shower!!! That baby will not be wanting for anything!!! They played this one game and it was really neat/gross!! They had melted candy bars and put them in diapers and they passed the 9 diapers around with 9 different candy bars in each one! I WON!!!! I only missed 2 candy bars!!! I have a pictures but I decided not to put them on here for those that may have a weak stomach!!

And Doublegranny has been house sitting for Agirlnamedkellykelly and so since she is coming home the so does GRANNY!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!!

WELCOME HOME GRANNY...WE SURE MISSED YOU!!!

But now I have deal with theycallmeganky and theweek-ender leaving me!!! Now, I will be so glad when all this vacation stuff is over!! I am ready to get things back to normal! I do hope that they both have a wonderful trip and it is a well deserved vacation for them both and they are going to be have a blast with those children!! I wish I was going too!!

Got them ready!

Ok well yesterday was a day that I knew stuff had to get done , because Tracy and her family will be leaving for their vacation on Sunday!
So the babies had spent the night with me and and then we got up and off we went to their house to get a few things done before heading out the door to get them ready for VACATION!!

So we started off with this place Old McDonalds as the babies call it!! They wanted to play in the fun house! And so that it what we did!

Then we headed off to BJ's wholesale warehouse to get them some items that they could use while on their vacation! Snacks, drinks and other items that we had coupons for! (gotta love those coupons!)
Well then before we got finished for the day the oil had to be changed in the Suburban because they are going to Myrtle Beach! So we got that taken care of!

Now I got the car full of gas and all of the other stuff done and I guess they will be leaving me tomorrow!! :( I hope that you all have a wonderful day today and just do your best at staying cool cause it is going to be another scorcher today!!

That's right we had special guest!!! Alex and Avery got to spend the night with us!!! They wanted to stop an let me get a quick shot of them doing some dancing!! And so here is Alex giving us the same pose because they were doing a dance together!!


What a blast we had!!! They will be leaving me next week to go on their vacation so I got some extra time with them!! And so much fun it was!!!!

And today is a special day...It is Derek's Birthday!!! This is the Daddy of the two precious children I keep everyday!!

Oh yeah, Justin got his phone back!!! YAYYY!!!!

Well as far as I know just about everyone has a cell phone and we all depend on them for everything... Well this was my only connection with my Marine!! And even though I had told him not to use it when he wasn't suppose to...He did it anyways!!! He called me alot and he also called alot of our other family members!!!! Well I am sure that you are guessing what has happened...Yes that is right he got caught with it!!!! And oh yes, they took it up!!! Worse than if they take it up in school...I can't just go up there and get it back!!! I can't even call the Family Resource officer and get it back!! He used someone elses phone and called to let me know that he was ok and told me that it got taken up!!

Sooo until whenever... these are the ones that have his phone:

Yes...and whose gonna fight them to get it back!!! He said that he was suppose to get it back tomorrow but I never believe anything that they tell him!!! So until whenever...I just have to wait!!! I thought about writing a letter to Obama to see if he could help. But I did make a phone call once before to the Family Resource Officer and that got him called a mama's boy so I guess I better just let him handle his own problems!! I just know that whenever my Marine gets a chance he is gonna call his mama!!!

Bedtime Snack...

Do you just sometimes need just something to eat after dinner? Well last night was one of those nights for me!! I had the calories left over so I dug into these:

And for a nice bowl full and fat free milk it was only 150 calories and soooo good!! It really took away that hungry feeling and they are just so tasty!!

Not alot going on around the home front...everyone is still trying to recover from vacation and we have going in the evening to practice our parking skills with the twins!! I think we may have it down, and they will pass the test!!! So I hope that you all have a Wonderful Wednesday!!! And when ever you just need a little snack either grab you a bag of Honey Nut Cheerios or make you a bowl of them and it will be very satisfying!!

I am back!!!

I am back and I love it!!! I put on one of the shirts I brought them back and took their picture first thing!!!! They were so excited to see me!!! This little angel girl just gave me the biggest hug ever this morning when I went in to get her out of bed!!! She was so glad to see me!!!

And this little one it took her a while to get up and give me some love but buddy when she did it was hugs away!!!

They were so wonderful to be around today and I enjoyed all of their hugs today and can't wait for more tomorrow!! I fixed them Strawberries and chocolate for a snack!!!

And then it's back to no more eating out and back on the diet...So Tracy tried some new recipes while I was on vacation and so now that I know that her family loves it then I thought I would give them a try on my family!!!!

This recipe is called:

Turkey Mexican Lasagna
and it was wonderful!!

I didn't get the picture made until we had dug into it, but I am going to share the recipe!!!

Turkey Mexican Lasagna

2 T Chili Powder

2 T flour

2 t Cumin

2 t Oregano

1/2 t Onion Powder

1/2 t Garlic Powder

1 16 oz. cans of fat free refried beans

1 lbs ground turkey breast

2 cups reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese

4 10 in fat free tortillas

Mix all spices in ziploc and shake until completely mixed.

In large skillet over medium heat, brown ground turkey breast.

In large bowl, combine spices, turkey and refried beans. Spread half in a 9x13 dish and top with tortillas and then 1/2 the cheese.

Repeat layers

Bake for 35-45 minutes at 375 F. until heated through and cheese is bubbly.

Parallel Parking

Well I am 39 years old and I have had my drivers license since I turned 16! And now its about time for my twins to get theirs! On June the 30th they have an appointment to get them so we have to really practice this week! So we went here...Department of Driver Services...used their cones that are set up and let them do some practicing!!!! LORD HELP ME!!! I need medication!!! And lots of it!!! LOL!!These instructions look easy but I tried it and I tell you what I am not so good at it!! I do not think I would pass the test now if I had too!!! They did really good, but not good enough!!! We will be going back tomorrow and everyday until we get this mastered!!! Any ideas of how to make it easier!!!

We had a great Father's Day!!! It was very relaxing and enjoyed our day being with Jeff! Justin called and got to talk to his dad!!! And that makes everything wonderful...Just his name showing up on my phone makes me have a good day!! :) Well its back to work and loving on my babies...CAN'T wait to see them!!!! You all have a good day and remember to keep me in your prayers...teaching teenagers how to drive is not so easy!!!!!

Home from vacation and Father's Day!!

Ok well we made our journey home and everyone is already talking about our vacation next year!! Its was so sad to leave the beach but so good to get home!! I am just going to show off some of the picture of the group that I had with me!!

And here we all are...I did the timer thing and that got everyone with a big grin on their face! It was not easy getting it set and then I clumsy ole me got my shirt caught on the chair once and about messed the whole thing up!!! But we all got along wonderful and had a GREAT vacation!!
This is the final sunset of our week and I thought it was just beautiful!!!

I LOVE the ocean!!! And here are my two chairs empty once again!!! :(

But I promised them that I would be back next year!!!

So until then I hope that Kelly Kelly found them and will use them while she is there!!

Well I hope that my vacation did not bore you all to much!!! I had a wonderful time!! But now it is time to get back to the normal routine!!! I get to go to church today and I hope that we have a Super Sunday!!!

HOME SWEET HOME!!!

Well Vacation for summer 2009 is over and I will be heading home today!! This is my final destination...HOME!!!! We really enjoyed our vacation!!! But now it is time to return to the reality of life!!! I have missed everyone but I can not wait to see my babies!!! I will see my family today...I am so excited!!! Granny I am coming home (don't leave until I get there!!)!!! I hope you all have a great day!!!

Speedo...Day #6

Ok well its just about over but day#6 was the best yet!!! Pretty much stayed at the pool the entire day and I LOVED IT!!!

We decided that since eating out has been so expensive we would just eat in the room! I cooked a huge pot of spaghetti and it fed 13 of us and has just a bit left over!!! And for only 20 dollars a family!! It was great!! Then took off and went to ride go karts!!! Everyone had a blast!!!Oh, I bet you were trying to figure out why my title was speedo...Well check out this next picture!!! SOOOOO Funny!! He walks around the beach and get his picture made all day every day!! I just don't think that these things should be legal!!!

Ok so that was our day!! And as you can tell it ended with a blast!!! All the children have met someone that they like and luckily they live a good ways away!!! All is well with us and today is my last day!!!! SOOOO SAD!!!! But yet ready to come home!!! Have a good one and until tomorrow...Have a Fabulous Friday!!

Day #5

So today was just one of those days that I needed some retail therapy!! I got up first thing and went to walmart and then tonight to the shops at the Pier Park!! I feel really good now!! I will be just fine for the rest of the week to just stick around the beach!! I hope that you all have a wonderful day!!!

So today everyone but me...decided to go Para sailing!!! Here they are lined up waiting to get on the banana boat that carried them out to a boat!! They all stood in such a good straight line waiting like good boys and girls!!

And off they went on the banana boat to the big boat and up up and away they went!!!

For dinner we went here!!! Rhonda and some others we we are with wanted Oysters and we were told that they had the best!!! And they all agreed!!


Well and then after dinner I checked in with Tracy and well I got to talk to my two girls!! Avery asked if she could come to my house and play and that she wanted to come back to her house soon! And then Lord have mercy I talked to Alex...She got me to crying!!! She asked me why I have been gone for so long and then she said "I thought you were coming back!!" I felt horrible!!! They are so young and they do not understand about vacation! I just cried and cried!!! But they will be leaving me in a couple of weeks for their vacation! I think that we may have to plan it together so they don't think that I have forgotten them!!! I just love these two babies to pieces!!! And I really think that they love me too!!!

Well day #4 over and only 3 more to go!! Weather is great...Just so very hot!! 106 heat index!!! Temperature 98 today!!! You all have a great day and stay cool the summer heat has set in every where I think!!

Beach Bums!!!

I just can not believe that the weather has been just PERFECT down here!! The kids are all just having such a blast!! Here are Bradley and Robert in the boat since the surfing did not do so good! They have met them two young ladies from Kentucky!!

Skylar and her friend decided that they wanted to bury Britani and I know that you can not see her but she is that mound of sand in between the two girls!!!

And Tracy wanted me to let you know what we are having to eat along with what we are doing so today we spent the entire day on the beach and we found a grill and had some hat dogs!!!(as my Justin called them when he was a little fella!!)





As I said we stayed on the Beach the ENTIRE day!!! We met some people that are from Georgia and well I am from a BIG family and he well knew some of the Howell Family...Buck Howell!! My cousins Willie and Hazels boy!! They work together! Small world!! So that was it for day #3!!! I hope that you all have a wonderful day!!!
