We are getting ready!!

Yes...We are getting ready...for what you ay ask?

The twins are going to prom Saturday Night!! I am so excited for them!!

Another Parent and I are rentin a Van and they Jeff and I get to take them and pick them up!! So we took a trip to Atlanta last night to just see where this place was and that we could get there with no trouble!! And we did!! They will be having the Prom at the Westin Down Town Atlanta...I just know it is going to be a beautiful place to have it!!

So after that we went to the Varsity...I don't remember ever going!!! It was GREAT!!!
I really just enjoy the enviroment more than anything...What'll you have????

So today is a full day...My to do list is VERY long!!

I will be out and about and then getting my twins ready for their BIG day tomorrow!! I WILL be taking tons of pictures and I WILL share them with you all!!

Also I made a B on my test Wednesday!! Yayy me!!!

But I had to thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers! Bradley is feeling much better and eating more and more everyday!! The twins have prom Saturday and I really was getting worried about him not feeling like going!! But prayers have been answered!!

New Blogging Friends

Ok...Not sure what happened with the pictures but I got a few on here that I wanted they are just placed weird!!

So recently I have gotten several new blogging friends and I wanted to introduce myself so that they don't have to go back over 300 post, and my about me is just not enough to let them know who I really am!

My name is Cindy and I am 40 years old and I just recently went back to school and got m GED and not I am in school for nursing! I am a mother of 3 which one is a United States Marine. He is 20 years old and is currently deployed to Afghanistan in the Marjah take over! I love him with all my heart and I am so very proud of him! And then I also have twins...Bradley and Britani are almost 17 and are fixing to finish up their junior year!

I have been married for 21 years! I love going to church! I enjoy shopping and cooking!! I love being with my family and they are all so very special to me. I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. My mom past away when I was only 18 and my dad past away just 3 1/2 years ago. I miss them more than anything and feel so cheated in life for loosing them while I was still so young! I didn't get as much time with them as I needed and I have so many times that I just really wanted them to be here with me! My sister Theresa (theycallmeganky) took me and helped daddy finish raising me! My sister are all so close to me!! They are so good to treat my children as their grandchildren and love them so much!

I love the United State Marine Corp and I admire anyone that has served, is serving or will serve! I never knew a lot about the military life until July 6th 2008 when my son left me for boot camp! I now have a whole new respect for anyone that serves and their family. Justin signed up for all this but I was drafted and it has been a long hard road but what doesn't kill me will mke me stronger! I have made so many friends through the Marines and love them all so much!

I enjoy blogging and love getting to know new blogging friends! I have several family bloggers and several bloggers that just might as well get adoption papers cause they are just one of us! I hope that you can take this and learn a little about me and continue to join me in my journey of life as a Mom of 1 marine and twins!!

Anything for him and Anatomy Test

Yesterday we did not go to church and we missed it but I want my boy to be better and rest and medicine is the way to do that!

But He did let me take his picture...He is still weak and hurting but improving slowly but surely!

And during this whole process he has gotten SO spoiled! Anything he wants I have done my best to get it for him! So he decided that he wanted chicken and dumplings and well that is what I did. I had flour from one end of my kitchen to the other end! But they were DELICIOUS!!! My Sweet Mama taught me how to make them!!

He ate them and said they were great and gave me a big hug for making them for him!
He is so sweet!!

So today is school day and I have another Anatomy test and so I will be studying and taking care of my sick fella!! You all have a wonderful day!!

I love it!!

I really do love it!! I love enjoy it to the fullest!! I don't like the cleaning up but I love the cooking!! So I just take the good with the bad and I cook!!

I got this new cookbook the other day and well I love it!!

I got up yesterday and cook a pound cake recipe out of it and then later I cooked some jalapeno bites which the recipe was in this cook book!!

I love it and will be trying more dishes out of it!!

Bradley maybe over done it yesterday... up more than he should so he was hurting pretty bad last night and this morning!! He has to get better soon they have prom next Saturday!! He has lost 11 pounds and what if his tux doesn't fit???

Keep Praying...IT WORKS!!

Well, all my attention is focused on this boy of mine!! He has really been a trooper! He is eating mashed potatoes and milkshakes and that is about it!! He is staying under pain medication!! He just wants me to stay right with him!! And so that is what I will do until he is well!! He can't get out because I don't want him to catch anything so we will be staying in. The doctor says Tuesday should be good for him to get out and he is so looking forward to that day!! But all in all he is good!! Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers!

And then on top of me being Bradley's nurse, maid and cook (MOM)...Wally got sick!!! I had my jewelry party the other night and some ate out side and threw the chicken wing bones out in the yard and well wally got one and it just about killed him!! He had to get a shot and some medication for me to give him the next 5 days and just have to keep a close eye on him!!

As I awoke this morning I was thankful to be able to open my eyes and thanked God for another day!! The weather here is stormy and it seems like it will be a good day to stay in and study and relax!! Oh, that is exactly what I will be doing!!! You all enjoy your day!!

One Sweet fella!!

Ok so I almost didn't post but he is back to sleep and I was just watching him so here you go!!

This is my Bradley...and he is one sweet fella!! He had his tonsils removed yesterday and he is in pain and I am giving him pain medicine EVERY 4 hours...even during the night!! So I am exhausted!! I don't do good getting woke up and then going back to sleep so lets just say I was up most of the night..but he is so worth it!! I don't want him to hurt!!

He is eating Popsicles, ice cream, pudding and drinking powerade! He even ate some mashed potatoes!! All seems to be well!!

What a Wednesday!!!

Well School is kicking my hiney but I can do it...I got my grade back on my first test from Monday in Anatomy and Physiology and I passed!! 22 in my class and only 8 of us passed!! So I feel pretty good!! Then I had another test yesterday, Medical Terminology!! So I spent my day studying!!! I made more flash cards and I went through them a hundred times!!

And this was my teacher helping me study!! My sister Brenda!!! She was trying to get ready for work but still willing to help me study!!
I think I did ok but we will find out soon!!

Today my sweet Bradley has his surgery! We went and got him pudding and jello and Popsicles and powerades!! I want to keep him as comfortable as I can!! I know that this is a rough surgery so I will do what ever he needs!!

So much fun!!!

Yesterday was such a FUN day!! I had a Premier Jewelry party!!! And I am not really a jewelry person but when all was said and done I received 433.00 in FREE jewelry!! So I may learn to LOVE it!! I had a FULL house and had so much fun!! We laughed and just enjoyed it so much!!

I have school today so today is full day of studying and then to go to school for 5 1/2 hours!! I will get the phone call today to tell me what time Bradley is having his surgery tomorrow. I hope it is early cause he can't eat after midnight and well he is 16 and a growing boy!!

I did it and I got it...

Well I did my test and it wasn't so hard!! It was open book for 4 chapters and I went trough and did the ones that I knew and then used to book on the ones that I wasn't so sure about! So...I did it!!!

And well I got it...I got a phone call!! It has been 15 days since I had heard from him and well my mind goes crazy wondering about what is going on with him!!! He was doing good...has not received mail since Easter and is wanting something from home...so pray he gets mail soon!!! I just love to hear his voice and him say that he loves me so much!! I am so glad that he is doing so well!! He now has the smallest PLT in the whole Bravo company!!! There is only 28 of them left...So many of them have been hurt or killed...I am so thankful that God has his Guardian Angel watching over Justin!! Thank you all for all your prayers!! But the bad news is he will be there for a bit longer so those prayers must keep going!!

And the Weekend is almost over...

So Saturday Morning I was up early and the carpet cleaners came and my house smells so fresh...I am so glad I had it cleaned!!! Then Tracy's sister-in-law Ginger is getting married and well she was having a shower all the way in Villa Rica!! And look at these girls...they are precious! They helped Ginger open every gift and helped her show everyone what she got!!

And here is me and Britani...We had lots of fun and she is growing up so fast!! I love spending time with her. I hope she cherishes each day because mama's don't last forever!! I miss mine so much!! I sometimes feel so alone without her...so much I would love for her to see and give me advice on and so many time I just a hug from her!! Okay...enough of my pity party of missing my mama!! I guess this deployment this doesn't just make you miss your Marine but everyone else too!! :'(

Spring Cleaning

I Love Spring time!!! I love being able to open my windows (when the pollen isn't so bad)!!!

I love all the flowers that are blooming and I just love it all!!

But the one thing I don't like is the spring cleaning..And that is what I have been doing!!!

I have cleaned out and thrown away, dusted, polished and just getting everything cleaned!! I think I have used each one of these products!!

Everything has been closed up all winter and now it needs a good cleaning!!

I have a carpet cleaner but I thing that I really need a professional cleaning done...so I checked around and I have someone coming out today to clean living room hall and 2 of my 4 bedrooms for only 70 dollars!!! Yayy!! I am so excited!!

SO been busy and today is no different....carpet cleaning, bridal shower and then dinner with my best friends...Rhonda and Kerry Murphy!!! :)

I bet I made 500

Yeah Not really a good picture but ... It is a stack of flash cards!!

I Have HUGE test Monday and Wednesday next week and I always taught my kids to study with flash cards and well so am I!!

I bet I made 500 for Anatomy and Physiology... I probably am exaggerating but I did make a lot and I probably over did it and will not need to know as much as I am studying for. But I had rather be safe than sorry!!

I am off today...gotta go do some stuff for Bradley's surgery and then I will be studying!!!

Home Grown Tomatoes

11th Grade Environmental Science...Project worth 3 test grades!!! UGH!!!!

Yes a project but this time it was Britani...So we grew home grown tomatoes!!! Rain water verses Newton County tap water....The rain water one is in better condition and has bigger blooms on it!! Tap water one is big and has blooms on it but it looks a little dried up...from all the chemicals in the tap water!! YUCK!!

We have been working on it for months and finally finished it!! I sure hope she does good on it!!

Please Pray....

I got word yesterday that Justins room-mate had been shot over in Marjah!! His names is LCPL. Spadaccini!!! Please pray for his healing! He was hit by a sniper and it got him in the face and shoulder!! It is always hitting me hard, but for it to be one that I really knew has got to me!! If any way possible to raise the prayer chain I have done it!! I can't imagine the feeling of that mama getting that phone call! Please keep them all in your prayers!!

Well Spring Break is over and I am back at work and these precious girls are back from their vacation!! I was so happy to see them!! And they were so happy to see me!! Avery said "Cinnie I love you so much!!" Alex just wanted my phone number so that she could learn it and call me!! Haha!!

They are precious and I missed them but we all enjoyed to break!!

So after my day at work I came home and cooked dinner and off to school I went!! I am enjoying it and a lot of it is familiar because I have helped my kids with so many projects!! So that is about it for me!!

Back to School and Happy Birthday!

This Pretty Lady turned 80!!

Wow...80 years old and still getting around, well, better than me!!! haha!!
This is my Aunt Dot! She is married to my Daddy's baby brother and oh is he precious!!

She takes excellent care of him...he has Alzheimer's! :(

Here are a few cousins, my sister and a little 3rd cousin...she is so darn cute!!! I didn't even know she was born!! Our family is HUGE!!

Here is My precious Uncle Obie...He is the one waving at me!! He said to me "I was looking for you all day!!" I knew that working with people is my passion and now I just have that aching in my heart to do it!!

Here is Aunt Dot and Uncle Obie....Such a special couple!!

And this is how happy I was to be able to see so many of the family that I love so much and NEVER get to see! I really enjoyed that party!! I agreed with some of the other that we just need to get together just to visit!!

I went for my hand scan and really ended up being a very interesting thing! I am 40 and yes overweight but really did not have much at all that my body needed! Sadly to say my kids needed more than I did....But we are working on that and the vitamins will be in soon!! We will go for a check up in May and hopefully I will be doing great!!

Dinner with the Bouchards was WONDERFUL!! They are the sweetest people and and we have spent so much time together in the past few years that we are just really close!! They are part of that Military Family and they KNOW exactly how I feel most days!! I love them!!

At Home...

Well Friday Night at Home...And we enjoyed it!!

I have been off all week and I sure have enjoyed it...Jeff has worked and come home to a home cooked meal every night...And even on a Friday Night!! I cooked and we stayed in and there was just NOTHING on TV and so we decided we would ON THE MAN a movie....and this is the one I picked!!

And it was wonderful!! I love Sandra Bullock!!

Well I have a really full day today...Party at 1...Hand scan at 3:45 ( this is a all natural herb thing for vitamins) and Dinner with the Bouchard's ( Marine Family Friends)!!

She called and I went!

This is my sister Barbara and her husband Jerry and well she called yesterday morning crying that Jerry had fallen and wanted me to come right away!! In the process of me getting there she called 911 and when I got to her...they had him loaded up and off to the ER we went!!And we spent most of the day here...Rockdale Hospital!!!

6 staples in the back of the head and some pain medicine and home he got sent!!

I am so glad he is ok and that the only thing he need was some staples!! I am sure that he will be sore...he took a pretty good fall!!!

I thought I was on Spring Break!!

So yesterday...It was a busy day!!

We started out at the Ortho...Poor Britani!

They put this contraption on the front of her mouth and she has to wear it ALL the time!! Well except when she eats!!

It looks painful!!
And then after that appointment I had to rush home get my stuff and head back out...Bradley had an appointment with the ENT and then I had to go to school immediately after that!

Yes he is getting his tonsils out...April 22nd 2010!!! Ouch...I know it hurts I had mine done when I was 29 and it took me forever to get over it!! But he will do fine!!

So then off to school I went!! I had my first Medical Terminology class along with another Anatomy and Physiology class!! It seems to be a little better the second class than the first it just scared me!!! But lots and lots of studying!

So not much going on today!!

Movie Day!

So Yesterday was a day I had set aside to do something with Britani! Bradley is working this week and so Britani and I have been hanging out!! But she has had enough of me and wanted Brittany Dalton and so I went and got her! Then off to the movies we went!!

Really a good movie...a total chick flick!! And YES I cried!! I enjoyed it and would go see it again if offered!

Beautiful Day!!

Oh, It was such a beautiful day yesterday! I sat out in the sun and caught a few rays and I made dinner and then off to school I went!! I am taking anatomy first and I tell you it is gonna be a challenge for this old bird!! I am 40 and gotta learn a lot so I will have to knock the rust off the brain and study, study and study some more!! I did enjoy it and I think that everything will be good once I get use to the homework and test and everything that goes along with this!

I hope that everyone enjoys their day...Me and My Britani are gonna go and get Brittany Dalton and then try to go see "The Last Song"!!! I hear it will make me cry so I will be taking the tissues!! So that is it for me today!!

Ok so LOTS of pictures!! We got up early and had our sunrise service and I cooked Breakfast for everyone and while everyone was eating I could here in the distance my phone was ringing!!! And oh my goodness it was this most handsome fella...

Yes....He called me and made my Easter just PERFECT!!!!

He was doing good and His I-Pod had gotten stolen and he wants me to get him another one and send it to him!!! He had gotten his Easter Basket stuff on Saturday Night and loved it all!!! He had gotten 11 packages and was in hog heaven!!! I just love him so much and I can not way for him to get his hinny back in US soil!!! My heart just aches cause I miss him soooo much!! But I was one happy mama getting that phone call!! You all have a good day!!
