And here is the letter...He is so sweet and I love him so much and I will keep this letter just like I did all of his bootcamp letters!!
And would you look at this....it is SUNSHINE!!!!

And we even got outside to play for a bit!!! Look how precious these two are!!! They surely enjoyed their time outside!!

After they were out for a bit they decided to play in the leaves!! So here are a few pictures...enjoy!!

Well it was a wonderful day with nice warm temps outside!!
I hope that you all enjoy your day!!

  2. So glad you got to hear from your boy! I love his handwriting..always have. I write so big, that it would take me three pages to write what he did! :o I need to show the girls the pics of them outside. Those were great! They do love playing outside. Have a great day. Love you!

  3. OOO-RAH!!! One ecstatic Marine Mom.
I too remember crying when I opened the mailbox and got the first envelope from Boot Camp since we couldn't talk at all. I just broke down and kissed the envelope. (and ya know what? It was the form letter giving us his mailing address, which was Like PRECIOUS GOLD to us at that time.) I did NOT care. It was his chicken scrawl and I loved eyeballing it. He was still alive!!! Oh how difficult those days were over a year ago...
And now we await the leave for Afghanistan.
I enjoyed reading your post. Thanks for sharing. I will be following. :-) Justin is in my prayers. :-)
    Take care.
