So here we go... I got 12 half pint jars and got them washed and ready!
I set the oven on 350 degrees!!
We mixed up the pound cake...Leah's Recipe!! And you can use any recipe...even make brownies or cornbread or anything like that!! Neat huh?
and put the jars on a cookie sheet and sprayed them with pam baking spray...
in goes the cake mixture!!! :)
And about 30 minutes later I have pound cake in a jar to send to my Marine!! I would love to see his face when he gets home-made pound cake!! I can't wait to hear what he has to say about this!!
Boiled the lids and sealed these babies up!!! I did open one of them just to see if it tasted like pound cake and sure enough.....IT DID!!!
So a very successful day of make pound-cake for care packages!!! My Marine is gonna be so happy!!!!
